Our Institute, according to the Foundress’ intuition, was born as a response to the urgent needs of the Church of her time: there was a need for “apostolic souls” who knew how to participate in her missionary desires and respond to her invitations.”
We, therefore, are called to collaborate in the universal mission of the Church by the witness of our consecrated life, by animating God’s people with knowledge and love for all missions, so that every Christian will assume his or her part in missionary work; by cooperating in every way possible with missions and missionaries throughout the world; by praying and working to awaken vocations of apostles.
An Institute at the service of the universal mission of the Church...
“All missions, none excluded, will benefit from our prayers and sacrifices, offerings and objects that will be collected with special interest” (Mother Caterina, 1923).
A fundamental characteristic of Ancelle’s charism of missionary animation and cooperation is universality. The ways of the Gospel know no borders, and therefore the range of our missionary outreach also cannot be limited by any boundaries.
Through our life, prayer, witnessing, and apostolate, we aim to make Christians aware of their responsibility in the Church’s mission and to encourage all forms of missionary cooperation.
