Family for the Mission

We invite Catholic families and single women to join our Family for the Mission Association. Founded in Treviso, Italy, by our sister, Sr. Luciana Lucatello, this association aims to bring together families who are dedicated to committing an hour each month to prayer for the mission and active involvement in the Church. Each month, we provide a prayer guide that includes readings from Scripture, prayers of praise and supplication, and moments for reflection. These resources are designed to help families deepen their appreciation of their role in the Church and embrace their misionary calling.

MSBS Vocation

We invite generous and young women with zeal for the mission of the Church to join us in our mission.

Interested candidates who successfully pass the initial evaluation may participate in our stay-in search-in program, designed to introduce them to the Congregation and the life of a consecrated religious. Our comprehensive formation process includes several stages: search-in, aspirancy, postulancy, novitiate, and juniorate. The duration of the search-in and aspirancy phases can vary, while postulancy typically lasts for one year, the novitiate for two years, and the juniorate for six years.

MSBS Lay Association

We invite single and widowed women with a passion for the missionary work of the Church to join our Lay Association. This association was founded in Italy by Alda Pasqualina, who initially thought of establishing her own institute. It was approved in 1969. Meeting the MSBS Sisters, however, she discovered their shared aims. With the approval of the competent ecclesiastical authority, the association was aggregated to our Institute. The MSBS Lay Associates answer God’s call by dedicating their lives to sanctifying the world through missionary outreach and collaboration. They embrace the vision of the MSBS Congregation and contribute to the transformation of society through their ministries.

The formative process includes Orientation and Discernment, followed by a year of Aspirancy, during which candidates experience the life and spirituality of the association. After this year, they make promises of Poverty, Chastity, Obedience, and Missionary Animation, renewing them annually.
